Brief summary

Opened in 2004 the Center belongs to the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and is situated in the countryside, 12 km South of Amman. The Center opened as a pioneering concept in Jordan to bring specialized day care for families bearing the responsibility of caring for persons with disabilities, though they were rarely well equipped for it.

Due to the high cost of generating power, and in order to reduce the high costs of electricity, the LPJ management staff is planning to upgrade the photovoltaic power system at OLOPC in Jordan.
